Question 1

What should I put on the page before moving in?

Accepted Answer

Start with the deposit, first rent, application or setup fees, moving costs, utility deposits, furniture, and household basics. Then make a separate monthly list for rent, utilities, transit, groceries, and debt minimums.

Question 2

Can I use it with my first paycheck?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Write down when the paycheck arrives, which bills come before the next one, and what you need for groceries and transit. The page is meant to help you see the sequence without needing a bank connection.

Question 3

Do I need an account or to connect my bank?

Accepted Answer

No. Tallyfold is a printable PDF bundle with editable Canva access. You decide what to write down, and the pages work offline without an account, bank link, or recurring login.

Question 4

What if my apartment has costs the page does not name?

Accepted Answer

Use the PDF as the starting point, then edit the Canva file when you want to rename a line for parking, laundry, a bus pass, renter’s insurance, shared groceries, or another real cost in your month.

Question 5

Is the $25 purchase a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. The five-tracker bundle is a one-time $25 purchase. You keep the printable PDFs and editable Canva files without a monthly fee.
